What if I have damage?

All vehicles have third-party insurance and a comprehensive insurance with a limited franchise fee PER damage claim and vehicle type. During repairs you can benefit from a free replacement vehicle from Luxauto NV.

If you are involved in an accident, you need to remember the following:

  • Fill in the damage form in full and if another party is involved, get them to sign it. If there is no other party involved, you need to fill in one side of the form
  • Provide the name and address details of any witnesses + photos
  • Get an authorised government body to issue a report
  • Do not accept any blame: it is for the insurance company to assess blame based on the description of the accident
  • Send the damage form to SmartRent by e-mail or post
  • Inform SmartRent of the accident or damage within 24 hours
  • If an accident leaves you unable to continue your journey, contact Europ Assistance on 02/541 90 76
